By turning the heating down by just one degree and reducing the level of heating in areas where we need less warmth we could save around 10% on our heating bill.
Make sure we keep windows closed when the heating or air conditioning is on
Our PCs, monitors, faxes and printers all have energy-saving modes. Make sure they're all set up to use as little energy as possible when they're not being used.
By using natural daylight where possible we could reduce our lighting bills by up to 19%.
Encourage everybody to turn off lights, PCs and other equipment when they're not being used, and certainly at the end of the day.
