Medway Council
Medway Council has made a strong commitment to tackling climate change and is working hard to reduce the carbon emissions associated with day-to-day business. The council has set a corporate carbon reduction target and has completed the Carbon Trust's Local Authority Carbon management programme.
In November 2006 the Chief Executive and Leader of the Council signed the Nottingham Declaration on Climate Change - committing the council to work with the rest of the community to reduce carbon emissions and adapt to the potential effects of climate change.
