Medway carshare, run by Medway Council, is a simple way to cut the cost of fuel and parking, to reduce congestion and pollution and to get rid of the stress of driving. You can share a car for any journey - getting to and from work, doing the weekly shop, taking the children to school, going to the match, travelling to a festival or visiting friends.

Medway carshare is a free service available to everyone, linking drivers and passengers who make similar journeys.

How to join Medway carshare

Log on to www.medwaycarshare.com.

1. Register your details. These are securely stored on the liftshare database.

2. Register your journey details and any conditions such as non-smokers only or men/women only.

3. Medway carshare will search for potential carsharers.

4. Check the safety advice terms and conditions, and frequently asked questions and start carsharing.
