About a quarter of the emission of carbon dioxide in Medway is from road transport. Most of this is from cars being driven short distances. As well as producing greenhouse gases, motor vehicles are reponsible for other forms of pollution that affect health. By using public transport, walking or cycling we can have an immediate positive impact and maybe even get a bit fitter.
